DE: »Pink ist wunderschön«, stellte der eitle Flamingo beim Betrachten seines Antlitzes im spätbarocken, reich verzierten Spiegel über der Konsole fest. »Schokoladenseite?! Nie und nimmer! Ich kann mich drehen und wenden wie ich will, von jeder Seite ein rosafarbener Leckerbissen!« Just im Moment seiner größten Arroganz war es geschehen: »URGH« gefolgt von einem »HICKS« und Halsschmerzen bemächtigten sich seiner. Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall, wie es treffend heißt.
EN: »Pink is so beautiful«, the vain flamingo realised as it looked at its face in the late baroque, richly decorated mirror above the console. »Best side?! No way! I can turn and twist as I please, every side of me is very tasty, a pink-coloured dream in other words!« Just at the moment of its greatest arrogance, it suddenly happened: »URGH« followed by a »HICKS« and a sore throat took hold of the bird.
